The Cape Split's open, flowing floor plan makes it very comfortable to live in. Its many nice features include the solid cut timber frame arches framing the hall, the hammerbeam trusses upstairs at each end and the small vault over the living room.

The main floor has a full length vaulted ceiling extending from the kitchen/dining area to one of the bedrooms.

The upstairs is very light and airy with rows of windows, giving it a bit of an industrial loft feel, ideal for an artist's studio. From the loft you can look down on the entryway to see who is coming in. The upstairs Master Bedroom has a walk-in closet and ensuite bath.
