The McDonell II: A 3-bedroom, 2½ bath timberframe home with Great Room and wraparound verandah

A variation of our McDonell I timber frame house plan. This version also has a vaulted Great Room and wrap-around covered porch, but the house is somewhat larger and the ground floor plan is mirror-imaged.

The downstairs master bedroom has its own ensuite and a large walk-in closet. An extra powder room opens off the hallway. There's a nice laundry and utility room off the kitchen with its own outside door.

The upstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath, as well as loft sitting area overlooking the vaulted living room below. Off the larger bedroom is a separate sitting room or nursery.
