The Greenwich I timber frame

Here is a Greenwich I post and beam frame that Arlington Frame Company built and raised in Greenfield, Queens Co., Nova Scotia.

The dormers are fully timbered, rather than conventionally framed into a space left in the frame, as is often done. Many timber framers today no longer know how to design fully timbered dormers. The beauty and strength of this feature will forever be enjoyed by the homeowners.
